The rapid response team of the Chamber of Advocates of RA received an alarm signal from advocate Georgiy Melikyan (license num. 1798) concerning the issue that on the 13-th of December 2016 in the Court of General Jurisdiction of Armavir region during the proceedings of a case (headed by judge A.Adamyan), prosecutor K.Nersisyan appearing in the same case,  expressed indignation in connection with the professional actions of the advocate and set upon the advocate, insulted him, hurled the  courtroom’s megaphone in the direction of the advocate,  and afterward invited the advocate to come out in order to clarify the matters.

In connection with the mentioned incident the rapid response team of the Chamber of Advocates of RA informed the chairman of the Chamber of Advocates of RA and the coordinator of the committee of advocates’ rights defense.  We will additionally inform you about further developments.
