The Chairman of the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia Ara Zohrabyan and the representative of the Council of the Chamber of RA on foreign affairs Martun Panosyan on the 28-th of June 2016 participated in the regular congregation of “Paris-Armenia” committee in the capital of France Paris, in the frames of which took place a discussion on the topic of “ The legal defense of contributions in the Republic of Armenia”.

     During the discussion speeches were made by the Head of the Union of Advocates of Paris Frederic Mikar, the Attorney General of RA Arpine Hovhannisyan, the Chairman of the Chamber of Advocates of RA Ara Zohrabyan , the member of the Union of the advocates of Paris and the honorary member of the Chamber of Advocates of RA Vensan Niore, the member of the Union of the advocates of Paris Sevak Torosyan, the general Consul of Armenia in France, businessman Vardan Sirmakes, the Head of the legal department of the Central Bank of RA Varujan Avetikyan, the vice president of «Grant Thornton» company Armand Pinarbasi and the generel manager of «Management Mix » company Rafi Semerdjian. In his speech Ara Zohrabyan mainly touched the role and meaning of the advocate in the sphere of foreign capital circulation.

Among the speakers were lawyers and businessmen from different French towns. After the speeches of the participants came answers to the questions, during which those who were present asked questions they were interested in concerning the legal mechanisms of defending contributions in the Republic of Armenia, the juridical system and tax policy.      Also we should mention, that in november 2013 between the Chamber of Advocates RA and the Union of Advocates of Paris within the borders of sealed memorandum of cooperation in april 2015 by the order of the president of the Union of advocates of Paris Pier Olivier Suire was established the "Paris-Armenia" committee, the main porpose of which is to strengthen and develope the amicable relations between Armenian and Parisian lawyer communities by the help of seminars, discussions and other events of such kind.
