On the 10-th of October to 50 advocates, members of the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia, in the frames of "Advocate Yezeguelian" scholarship have been granted certificates for one year's time period membership fees extinction.
During the solemn ceremony of handing the certificates' the Chairman of the Chamber of Advocates of RA Ara Zohrabyan presented the ongoing cooperation with the member of the Union of Advocates of Paris, the honorary member of the Chamber of Advocates of RA, the cofounder of the scholarship Raymond Yezeguelian. He, on expressing gratitude to the benefactor, namely mentioned that in the result of the cooperation the number of the scholarship beneficiaries has exceeded 200. The Chairman of the Chamber noted, that the benefactor is permanently beside the Chamber and pays attention to the advocacy sphere. Reverting to the idea of the membership fees granting, Ara Zohrabyan emphasized that one of the benefactor's terms of its provision had been  the beneficiaries  to have no debts. The committee that was formed in order to choose the beneficiaries, according to the priority defined by the order, gave preference to the following advocates:
During the time period between the 2-nd and 5-th of April 2016 to advocates who displayed legal help to peaceful populace, as also to advocates who participated in defence voluntary activity in cases connected with the attacks on the NKR defence army servicemen and inhuman treatment (tortures), to advocates who displayed free legal help voluntarily involved by the initiative of the Chamber of Advocates, to the participants of the sit-in connected with the electricity price raise of 2015 in Yervan city's Bagramyan avenue, to advocates of the research group of the Chamber of Advocates, involved in the research work on the main international-legal aspects of the question of Nagorno-Karabakh Rebublic, to advocates who had been born after the 1-st of January (inclusive) 1991 and to single mothers, as also to regional advocates, presented by the coordinators.
