The Head of the Investigation Committee of RA Aghvan Hovsepyan received today the Chairman of the Chamber of Advocates of RA Ara Zohrabyan.

By the initiative of the Head of the Investigation Committee during the meeting were namely discussed the issues referring to the cases of disorders that had taken place in the city in July. Those are in the preliminary phase of the prosecution and the question was of procedural defense of the sights. “The breaches of procedural rights do not show the interests of the body implementing the prosecution.

The investigator is interested for the evidences to be acquired while keeping the demands of legislation and that is what ensures transparency”- noted A. Hovsepyan and emphasized the importance of the legal work of lawyers and the display of proper legal help during the procedural process to the sides concerned. Ara Zohrabyan presented the notifications and considerations of the lawyers defending the interests of the ones being prosecuted in the investigation committee. Both sides found  very important the constructive activity of advocates inscribing that the active inclusion and the non-obstacle realization of their professional activity will help to ensure the comprehensiveness and impartialness of the preliminary phase of the prosecution.    

The agreement had been achieved of discussing in working order the problems fixed by the advocates’ society and investigation bodies during the prosecution.
