In the Court of General Jurisdiction of Armavir region during the court session that was considering the criminal case number ARD/0041/01/16 took place an incident. Against advocate Gevorg Melikyan participating in the session in connection with the mentioned criminal case,   the prosecutor of Armavir region prosecutor’s office Koryun Nersisyan allowed himself unlawful actions.  

In connection with the incident the committee of the advocates’ rights defence of the Chamber of Advocates of RA came out with an announcement, on the bases of which on the 23.12.2016 the Chairman of the Chamber of Advocates of RA Ara Zohrabyan presented a pleading to the attorney general of the Republic of Armenia claiming to investigate the conduct of the prosecutor of  Armavir region prosecutor’s office Koryun Nersisyan towards the advocate on criminal case number ARD1/0016/01/16 Gayane Lyudvikyan and the advocate on the criminal case number ARD/0041/01/16 Gevorg Melikyan  and to call the prosecutor to responsibility.

On the 26.01.2017 a letter from the Prosecutor’s General office of RA from 16.01.2017 num. 20/10-9-17 entered the Chamber of Advocates of RA by which it was announced that on the bases of the pleading of the chairman of the Chamber of Advocates of RA from 23.12.2016 by the decision of the attorney general of RA a disciplinary proceedings was evoked against the prosecutor of Armavir region prosecutor’s office Koryun Nersisyan.
